Busy Mom Meal Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Sandwich

Busy moms, isn’t dinner prep just another one of those dreaded things we don’t have time for each day? This is one of the easiest, quickest preparation meals to try on a busy day. Plus the kids will love it and you will have a little time to get in a workout :).

Barbeque Chicken Sandwiches in the CROCK POT.
All I did was put 4 organic chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour BBQ sauce on top. Cook on low for 3-4 hours (until chicken is done and infused with the BBQ sauce). Remove the chicken from the sauce and then shred it with two forks. If more sauce is needed spoon onto the assembled sandwiches.

Today I tried a sauce that I haven’t seen in the store before. We shop at Sprouts and love their dedication to healthy, natural and organic items. The BBQ Sauce was Guy Fieri Bourbon Brown Sugar. We like us some Guy Fieri in this house. The kids think it is really cool to try his BBQ sauce! The sauce is not as spicy as some we have had and I like the mild flavor.

Serve with a green vegetable or large salad!

To keep the carbs and calories a little lower, serve on half the bun with a knife and fork!

Try this easy, quick prep meal for busy moms…less stress makes happier, more confident moms!!! Gives you more time to squeeze in a workout to balance your fitness and your family life.

If you try it, let me know in the comments how you like it!
