5 Weeks Later…..

5 weeks laterSo it’s 5 Weeks Later and I thought you might be interested in an update on my results and maintaining them.

I’ve now switched to the maintenance plan and will continue the workouts with weights and adjust based on my strength and increase in strength! By switching to the maintenance plan, I have increased the number of red, green, purple and yellow containers, by one container and tsp by 2 tsps. It has allowed for a bit more flexibility, but sometimes I don’t finish all the containers.

The fantastic news is that my results have maintained the same for an additional 5 weeks!!! What does this tell me? Well, it tells me that this is a lifestyle now. That I have been able to maintain my results and keep on a plan. This is a way of life that even busy moms like me and you can manage.

I don’t have to use the containers much anymore, just to occasionally check myself that I’m doing the appropriate portion sizes. I do, however, track my containers throughout the day. I do not want to get back in the habits of disproportionate amounts of food and food categories (example – too many carbs not enough proteins and veggies). I do this with an app and it’s super easy. Also another non-negotiable that hasn’t changed is drinking my Shakeology daily. The only difference is I find myself drinking it later in the day many days now because it gives me a healthy treat after dinner or a refreshing snack in the afternoon!

A question you may wonder is cheating…I have had cheat days and cheat meals. The way I have managed it is not allowing myself more than once a week and I always follow up a day where I cheat with a Countdown to Competition Day.
